We are proud to have the following charities participate in this years’ Concours d’Elegance
ANGEL FLIGHT SOUTHEAST
One of the Concours charity recipients this year is Angel Flight Southeast. AFSE is a non-profit organization utilizing volunteer private pilots and their aircraft to provide free transportation for financially-stressed persons with medical or other compelling human needs. AFSE also provides air training for seeing-eye, hearing impaired and rescue dogs. An IRS 501(c)3 charity, they are a proud member of Air Charity Network – the world’s largest charitable aviation network.

WINTER PARK COMMUNITY CENTER
UNITY HERITAGE FESTIVAL EDUCATIONAL FULFILLMENT FUND
The Winter Park Community Center is one of the largest recreation centers in the area. The Center has created a unique scholarship program to provide educational assistance to economically disadvantaged youth in West Winter Park. The assistance provided would be aimed towards:
- Teaching youth how to use computers to complete homework assignments and extra credit projects.
- Teaching youth how to research history and incorporating genealogy.
- Provide educational supplies for youth whose families cannot afford the items
- Establish a mentoring program for those youth that are identified and demonstrate the potential to attend college but are unlikely to do so on their own. The program will match students with an adult mentor who will work with the student on bridging cultural differences, understanding adolescent development, building communication skills, provide individualized college preparation and understanding the programs goals and policies.
- Provide FCAT assistance
- Provide interview & resume writing classes
